Jah Thomas, whose real name is Nkrumah Thomas, is a Jamaican musician, producer, and deejay. He is well-known in the reggae and dancehall music scene. Jah Thomas gained recognition in the late 1970s and throughout the 1980s for his contributions to the reggae and dancehall genres. He is particularly noted for his work as a producer and as a deejay (toasting or rapping over reggae tracks).
